Busy morning, 5 dogs had an appointment at the vet. Huge vet expenses for a small rescue – if you can donate, please click on this weblink.

– Sofia: this girl has made a huge step forward, her weight increased from 16kg to 20.60kg. Her treatment for Erlichia and Anaplasma has ended and the 28 days of Milteforan have also been completed. Today a new blood test was done to check if she also has Babesia.

– Cabriola: she too has already made enormous progress. Checkup was ok, a blood test was also done for Babesia. She has also ended her treatment for Erlichia and Anaplasma.

– Violetta: meanwhile has gained enough weight (25kg), finished her treatment for Anaplasma and is being spayed today (she tested negative for Babesia).

– Fiona: also ended her treatment for Anaplasma but unfortunately tested positive for Babesia. To avoid risks of internal bleeding she will only be sterilized after her treatment. She received step one of her treatment today and will remain in the clinic for observation until this evening.

And last but not least our crazy Pod

– Capitán: this podenco will be neutered today and will get his last vaccinations. He’s completely ready to leave for his new home.

Later that evening Capitán, Violetta & Fiona were picked up and taken back to the Rescue center.
