From Sandy Galgoslover at Galgos Rescue Almeria.
A couple of days ago this young galga was picked up in Baza with a broken leg and we were asked if we could take her. She was taken to the vet to make X-rays of her paw. She spent the night at the vets and then was brought to us.
She has been for a check-up with our vet, microchipped, has a European passport and a blood sample was taken. The results were negative for all Mediterranean diseases except Anaplasma. Alma will receive treatment with Doxiciclina for 28 days and an appointment has been made with the traumatologist.
We would like to thank Eli for contacting us and Raymond Faber for picking her up in Baza.
All help and support is welcome as her operations and medication is going to be expensive.
