It has rained a lot in Spain recently, topping up the reservoirs but no fun with a shelter full of dogs!
‘Rainy days are really hard in the shelter as they can’t go out to the yard to relate and play with the rest, they are a little more stressed by the limitations and although all of these are sheltered and have a roof and it’s ok but the sun has not risen.
We put blankets and vests on them daily, if they get wet we wipe them off with towels, but no matter how much we want to, it can’t compare to the care and care of a home.
Rainy days are also hard because of all the furry ones on the street, with no place to shelter and we unfortunately are always saturated with dogs because neglect is unbearable.
We always try to show you the best part, but this is also the reality of furry people and that even though they are well and taken care of, it is not a home and it is far from it and the shelter is hard.

TICKLES IN THE SUN
And it is that where there is a good sun there are our galguillos, and after all the rain they are all like lizards in the sun.
They’re already with their winter look with their collars and vests to be cozy up.
Thank you all for giving us blankets and clothes for them, you see how well they use it,
The shelter isn’t a home much less, but while they wait for a home thanks to everyone’s help, their stay here is more bearable.
