FromSandy at Galgos Rescue Almeria

On December 7, 2022, our help was asked to take in 3 galgos. Grace was one of them. Grace is a treasure, when she was found she was malnourished and dehydrated. We asked our host family if she could be taken care of with them for a while until she was stable enough to stay in a large pack. It soon became clear that Grace was a worry child and has to deal with heart problems (heart murmur). The first cardiogram showed a defect in one of the heart chambers. Medication was prescribed and another check-up was scheduled.

Grace recently had another appointment with the cardiologist, unfortunately not good news, the condition of her heart has not improved and she has to take additional medicines ( Cardalis, Furosemide )

The cardiogram shows some fluid in the chest. Thank you Marcia for assisting Grace at the cardiologist.
