From Galgos 112
Hi I’m Bono! I’m one and a half years old and they say I’m very friendly and loving. Still hard to believe what happened to me. I lived with my other galgo friends, we shared games and food in a pen. Every once in a while our owner would take us for a run in the middle of the olives, he would get very pleased if we chased the rabbits.
But one day, when I saw him coming to the pen, I thought it was time to go out to chase rabbits, as always I climbed a jump into the trunk of the car but it took longer to arrive than usual, my owner stopped the engine, as other times he opened the trunk and I jumped outside, but that day there was something strange, my owner, without looking at me, got back in the car, started and left leaving me there alone. I didn’t understand anything.
Several days passed, I was more and more scared and hungry: I needed to get food and water, I began to walk, and walk, I was walking until I got near a house Could I get some food there? Yesss: a girl saw me from the house and came with a can of food for me and also gave me water. I was very thirsty!. It was getting dark and when I was already curling up between some herbs to spend the night, this girl appeared again and said: Come!
Without hesitation I left with her and that day my new life began.
Bono’s story isn’t over yet, he doesn’t know, now he’s at the residence waiting for someone to take him home, foster or adopted. He is a healthy, sociable, very playful Greyhound. Gets along with all dogs and needs to be in a family with more dogs to share games and runs with. You can also live with cats.
