A message for Dog Breeders
This is a message for dog breeders – you contribute to the over-population of dogs and the mass killing of dogs as a result. This especially is for the galguers and cazadores who overbreed galgos and podencos and to everyone else in Europe who breeds galgos and podencos. TIME TO STOP BREEDING THESE HOUNDS!

November 2015 – Domestic Violence Awareness Month – linked to Animal Abuse
Dr Nuria Querol i Vinas spoke at the PAES conference on the subject of Animal Abuse and Interpersonal Violence and often it can also be linked with psychological problems too – abusers will maltreat those weaker than themselves. Abusers may use animals as a lever in situations where a woman (and children) have escaped him (it’s usually a man in Spain) and they are threatened – if you don’t return, I will kill your dog/cat.

IMPORTANT WARNING: ALL SHELTERS WITH HUNTING DOGS/GALGOS/PODENCOS, ETC.
Please share this warning.
We’ve been asked to put the following message on our Page with this warning:
“With this message I want to alert you that there are currently serious efforts to recruit hunting and greyhounds from shelters, rescue organizations, foundations and associations, for use in hunting in Morocco.
Thus, our animals rescued from hell in Spain end up in the same hell in Morocco.
Would you please distribute this far and wide within your ranks, so that each one can be alert to and avoid this happening to their rescued hunting dogs?
Thank you very much.’

Australia’s greyhound industry exposed!
Terrible news from Australia about their greyhound industry – which a couple of years back was denied by in comments by Australian greyhounds trainers on this blog!
Greyhounds Australasia has admitted that up to 17,000 healthy dogs and puppies are killed every year because of greyhound racing — and that the industry would be shut down if these secret figures ever became public (www.AnimalsAus.org/tt7).
Its own board called the deaths of these dogs “indefensible”. If you agree, speak up.
And for the figure of 96% of greyhounds dying before they are 4 years old – read the same figure for the hundreds of thousands of galgos to which a similar percentage applies!
These people just don’t value life in any form.

Australia – the greyhound scandal exposed!
Some years ago I published a story about the maltreatment of greyhounds in Australia and a couple of trainers commented and vigorously denied it happened. Here’s the proof. Would that we could achieve a success like this against the bastard galgueros who over-breed and maltreat their hounds.
