  • Galgos Rescue Almeria – help needed with vet bill

    GRA Phoenix400 5 2023
    From Sandy Galgoslover

‘Meet Phoenix, this boy was unfortunately the victim of a traffic accident which injured his leg. He was left to fend for himself and had to survive all by himself. Fortunately, rescue came and he now gets a new chance. He has now had surgery on his elbow. The surgery went well and there were no complications. Now it’s up to him to use his joint again.

He had been walking around with his injuries for quite some time, so if he doesn’t spontaneously start stepping back on 4 legs, chances are he will lose his leg.

This boy is asking for your support for his surgical procedure / rehabilitation. Vet bill over 1300 euros

  • Galguero – I don’t want them so I won’t feed them!

    Carmina galga 400 5 2023
Bastard hunter just wanting to dump his dogs. Huelva town, Andalucia)

    Hunter doesn’t want them!️

The podenco approximately 4 years old and the galga approximately the same age (no doubt she is pregnant). Hunter’s words: I don’t need them and I don’t feed them for another day, either you take them from me or…

My friend Carmina (who helped get Polar from Pepis to me) asked for help from associations to get them out of there as soon as possible.

  • Galgos – the dogs that dance The Piano

Galgueros have a history of hanging their unwanted dogs in the olive groves. With the advent of facebook, tweets, Instagram etc they dump them in the campo, perreras or at shelters. But still 100,000 every year.

  • Puntanimals – galga with huge tumour

    From Puntanimals

‘This is what we deal with every day. Sick dogs who have never been through a vet in their life like Lotto, who has to recover from his anemia to be operated on for mastitis.

Terrified puppies who are terrified to see us, like these two little ones, knowing what they’ve had to go through in their short lives. They, like the 100+ dogs we have in our care, are very important to us, let’s get their lives changed.’

  • Protectora Scooby Palencia – skeletal galgos on the street

Scooby Palencia group with mastin 400 4 2023
    From Protectora Scooby Palencia

7 greyhounds and a mastiff in deplorable conditions in Villalobón.

Do you remember that not long ago Spain approved a law for the protection of pet animals in which hunting dogs are excluded because hunters do not mistreat them!

The story begins with a phone call. Someone had seen some animals in a deplorable condition in a village of Palencia, again greyhounds as not, and a subsequent call from the Givil guard asking us for help to rescue them because they were very bad and needed immediate help.

There we went, the vision was deplorable, some skeletal animals, totally full of parasites internally and externally.

Please, to help them we need you to help us, become Teamer or make a donation that by the way are deductible.
