  • Cordoba galga used as bait in dog fights – fighting for her life

    Readers of my book will not be unfamiliar with the knowledge that calm, gentle galgos are used as bait for dog fighting. Here is the story just in of one poor galgo.   • Torre del Campo, Jaen – galgo with Wobbler Syndrome?

    Lourdes galgo dys 3 250 4 2012Lourdes helps with a small association in Torre del Campo, Jaen. This galgo, now called Voyka, was recently rescued, and his movement is disco-ordinated. He has now been assessed by the vet and this is what Lourdes says.

    ‘I tooko Voyka to Jaén to test various things: the x-rays didn´t show anything in the head and the column but our vet thinks that it´s Wobbler syndrome
