beryl what are the best ways I can help,I am selling on ebay at the moment to try and raise funds to share between pepis,galgodelsol and 112 carlotagalgos.Its frustrating as anything to see whats going on in spain without being there to try and help,I have only been aware since easter about the plight of the galgos and podencos,in this day and age I cannot still understand mans cruelty to these beautiful animals it breaks my heart.what can I do to help,can I write some letters to celebraties who are animal lovers or if you have any one to contact I have a few days of and am happy to help in any way I can from uk please advise.teresa
Hi Teresa – keep doing what you are doing, raising funds to send out to the charities. Write to Spanish Government, your local MEP, Spanish Embassy, tourist industry as well. Let as many people know about the plight of the galgos and podencos – spread the word. If you’re on facebook there’s plenty of galgo pages to link up with and they regularly post petitions and circular letters. Good luck.
