  • ADANA, Badajoz, Spain – galgo lucky to be alive

ADANA have rescued this badly injured galgo, suffering multiple bites – particularly to his testicles – and a torn neck. He also has a recent scar about 2cm wide which runs round the neck. The new neck wound is very deep to such an extent that you can see they veins. The tear is about 3cm long. To have survived such horrendous injuries – cause by being bait in a dog fight, or possibly also having been hung and released means this boy has a very strong survivor instinct. He has been named River. He’s in Badajoz, a particular hell hole for galgos.

So, ADANA is appealing for help to pay the vet fees to help River on the road to recovery.
