Argentinian hell for galgos – Adopta Galgo Argentina

Argentina galga Lala 190 2009Argentina once ‘belonged to Spain’ so no surprise there are galgueros and galgos there. The galgueros are just as cruel in Argentina, this video illustrates.

This is a google translation of the story of the rescue of galga Lala back in 2009 – you’ll get the gist of it, including that the galgueros tried to get Lala back from the volunteer who saved her, threatening her, which illustrates the viciousness of so many galgueros.

‘I Lala saw one afternoon in the village of San Jose de Rincòn near the city of Santa Fe, Argentina. Lay rulito made one. That day I went but I kept thinking about that greyhound looking sad, left to their fate and exploited as a convenience. I returned a few days and was not there. I asked the hostess where he had seen outside if it was her, she said no, that she be fed when she could.

I asked him to let me know when you see her again.

Distrustful, when I went to my fifth visit, entered all days per village to see if the greyhound was sunning, but did not see.

A week later the lady called me. A Sunday night and go quickly called for her.

could feel Al grab ticks hanging on her in quantities which I had never seen on his body like bunches of grapes. Some guys told me that I own, I insisted that the dog was in very bad condition and poorly maintained and I took it.

Al make do with my vet noticed he had very swollen belly, sleep all day, ached joints so I walked very slowly, had a finger of a sprained hand, I inmobilizamos, bruises everywhere, and after analysis we knew had severe anemia.

Al castrate they removed cysts with an ovary that had swollen enormously the spleen, and caused him great pain, but she never complained. Started eating the best balanced, and who had lived on bread. Directory gives supplement for joints and tonic for anemia
was afraid of everything, brooms, noises, cars. Had nightmares that night crying and complaining.

When I took it,they made me Theft Report. By visiting the citation police to carry me photos of the state of the dog, make it clear that I had no collar or identification, neither he had galguero document it, I took certificate from my veterinarian detailing your state and Act 14.346 (Law Sarmiento) with the Articles under which highlighted amparaba me. Declare and leave everything to the commissioner.

Within a few days they began to call me at my house, sometimes three times a day, threatening me, saying to refund the galga, they knew where I live.

But I did not plan to return to Lala your life neglect, abuse and mistreatment and fight hard and well, here it is. With patience and love overcame her trauma, you now know that there are good, sensible people, who will always love and care, is now happy.

Thank you for rescuing these dogs. Yes just shows how rotten some of these galgueros are by threatening and behaving in despicable ways. I will make a donation at the end of the month. I have had a look at the website but all in Spanish and I wondered which countries the dogs go to when they are adopted? Do any come over to the UK?

Thank you, yes that would make sense. It seems like quite a lot of the galgos now get adopted to America. I have seen that some of Charl’s galgos are going to Canada.
