On 16th February 2013 in Horcajo de Santiago, Cuenca, this galga was brutally beaten and shot with pellets, in public. NOBODY did anything for her. By the time the Guardia Civil came, she had died. People watched and walked by as every blow was struck! Imagine her suffering! How can the person who did this and those who turned away from helping save her live with themselves! This is Spain, an ‘civilised’ Western European country, not a Third World country!
There is an appeal for witnesses so the murderer can be punished and also a petition to sign. Please support it.

I have already circulated this on facebook. Have signed and shared. The people who stood by are as guilty as those that carried out this brutal killing. I hope they all receive their karma back very soon and very harshly.
Signed with tears in my eyes and total disbelief that nobody did anything… COWARDS!
God Bless you run Free mankind has much to learn we watch our neighbour starve and we abuse our children i am sorry for your suffering
Signed and shared on Facebook. So sad how people can just walk past but these people bury their heads when all around children and animals are being tortured and murdered!
Run Free at the Bridge sweet unloved Glalgo, where you will find the love you deserved x
One almost gives up hope for Spain and the atrocities committed there. Will they ever get their act together………..
Running free now beautiful Galga – in a far kinder world, full of love.
What is truly heartbreaking is that this poor galga and so many others live and die without ever knowing a kind word or gentle hand. How sad to die without ever knowing kindness …..
