Remember the story of the 90 galgos dumped at the Villa del Rio shelter in Cordoba at the end of January? Leticia at the shelter, and Sandra Baas of Baas Galgo have been working hard to care for the galgos and rehome them. There are now 70 galgos still at the shelter and Baas Galgo are appealing for donations to pay for food etc for these galgos.
If these dogs are still in the shelter in August/September, any bets the galgueros will be back to get them for the next hunting season?!

Can you tell me what the name is for that shelter in Villa del Rio in Cordoba? Sometimes its not so easy to find my way around the names of the shelters, since they are called different names or sometimes just the name of the city 🙂

Best to ask Sandra at Baas Galgo. I visited it last year, it is always referred to as Villa del Rio, Cordoba.
