Bonjour
Wed like to have joined the rallying cry of the
people who posted this picture on Facebook, but by the time I had been sent it
and wed looked for the contacts, FB had removed the picture!
What wouldnt we like to do to these men – making
sure it was long, slow, painful and without anaesthetic! And that wouldnt
include killing them!

Thanks, Valarie, Glad you found it
again.
As you say, it will haunt us all. I know that
the Traumatised, white galga with the burn marks around her neck, which was in a
refuge in Cordoba when I visited in June 2009, forever haunts me; especially the
fact that she was stolen again in the August before we could get back to take
her out. We dont travel the dogs in cars inJuly and August because
of the heat, even with air conditioning. We have never forgiven
ourselves…………

I did put it again on my FB page! Still no words left only sadness.

Culprits like that are a dime of a dozen we see them everywhere. Last year there were two hanged lurchers in peaceful England so where do we start? Poor dogs. People like that should be behind bars for the duration of their lives. Knowing what they are capabel of doing rest asured no one is safe around them. it is cases like this that is truly agrvating but at the same time it makes me want to fight that much harder for the greyhounds and galgoes in this world. This may seem morbid but I am celeberating my greyhound Connor today as it is on this day six years ago that I picked him up at the airport in Copenhagen. He survived Spain where so many others have not. He is healthy and happy now seven years old and has spent more time here in Denmark with us than he ever did in Spain. So some of them are lucky and their owners are fortunate to have them. It is a priveledge and an honour to own greyhounds and being abel to make a diffrence for them every day.
Happy Birthday to Connor!
Yes, the hangings are sickening but I think prison is too kind to the perpetrators of any form of animal cruelty.
Thanks for your caring and support for the greys and galgos.

They deserve to die, the FUCKING pieces of Shit…Think they are KOOL… Come to Canada and I will hang you from a fucking tree and then we will see who is KOOL!!!! Fucking PRICKS!!!
Hi i now there face but not there Names they are both from Lye in the West Midlands I Have let the rspca know & they are looking in to it
There are both under 30 years old I if in lye you would defo see them at some pont.
It still happens but not as often as when it was a regular sight in the olive groves. Baasgalgo have taken at least two hunters to court charged with hanging their dogs because it is illegal. I believe that is one reason there are so many more dogs in the perreras now, or abandoned. It is never acceptable…it is hard to imagine what is in the mind of a man who can put a rope round the neck of his dog and string it up to a tree branch and then walk away, whilst the dog still struggles….

It’s posted on the above link on FB, on the Galgos Mi Familia page. There are tons of comments—-virtually all in spanish. This photo will haunt all of us forever.
Can’t these sadists be prosecuted in Argentina. Plenty of proof. Or am I being very naive?

Is this something that happens regularly to these types of dogs in Argentina and Spain? Just wondering from some of the old comments. It’s so sad.
