Here’s news from Maria Daines, fantastic singer/songwriter and marvellous supporter of animals in need. If anyone is willing to organise a Galgo/Podenco publicity stand, please get in touch, maybe we can put volunteers in touch with each other through Galgo News and Podenco Post. The Galgos and Podencos need you to help.
‘We’ve been really busy working on the DDAWatch/Company of Animals ‘No Voice No Choice’ event coming up on August 6th in Surrey. I thought I’d better catch up with you all and invite you to have a stall (rescue and good causes can book a place for free) and if you can’t hold a stall on the day you’re most welcome to attend with or without your dogs, it’s also free entry to the public with plenty of car parking.
Address –
No Voice No Choice
The Company of Animals Behaviour and Training Centre
Ruxbury Farm, St Ann’s Hill Road,
Chertsey, Surrey, KT16 9NL
No Voice No Choice is a celebration of responsible dog ownership. On the programme will be a fun dog show, agility and heelwork display, a talk and slideshow presentation from Nowzad, expert legal advice on welfare and dog law, free vet checks, free microchipping, basically masses of great info and interesting presentations for friends of dogs and rescue organisations.
To book a stall please email – DDAWatch@aol.com or telephone Allie Green on 0844 844 2900
There’s also face painting & bouncy castles to keep the little people happy and you’ll no doubt meet up with lots of fellow animal advocates & rescuer’s.
