This beautiful boy is Bracken. He was rescued earlier this year, waiting outside a supermarket with a badly injured front leg – the bone was sticking out. Even though he must have been in awful pain, he was still gentle and affectionate to those who took him in their loving care and back to a place of safety. The refuge vet operated on him and he was placed in foster car whilst his injury healed.
A couple of weeks ago he came to join my canine family at my home in France. He had been reserved by a lady in the UK but circumstances have changed and she can no longer take him. So he is now looking again for his forever home.
Bracken is just 3 years old, microchip, vaccinated, castrated and blood tested negative in all Medi diseases. His UK passport will be complete by early September and so he will be clear for entry into the UK then.
He is the most loving affectionate and gentle galgo, although he does love to have a scamper and run around the courtyard with Sahara – they are a pair of juveniles together! Otherwise, he likes nothing more than to lie in the sunshine with the other dogs, walk the meadows with our lurcher Floyd (on leads as we have hares in the meadows) or curl up on the sofa if given half a chance. Everyone who visits our home falls in love with him, please, someone take him into your heart.
If you can offer him the loving forever home he deserves, please contact Galgos del Sol.

We had several friends here for a bbq yesterday and
they all fell in love with Bracken, said what a fabulous dog he is for
anyone. One lady was very tempted to ask to adopt him as a companion to
her weimaraner bitch, but she also has 5 boston terriers and I said thats
quite enough dogs for you!. He will steal anyones heart and because he
has been in a foster home for a couple of months or so, he is already completely
well-adjusted to living in a house. Fingers crossed for him.

My husband fell in love with Bracken and, like happens with so many fosters, we have adopted him forever. Welcome to the Brennan household.
