FAADA
A couple of weeks ago I posted some photos of two ponies and a lion in terrible conditions at Circus Arvizu in Pamplona Spain. I’m pleased to say that I have received the following email, and have forwarded it to the source of my information.
Those of you living in Spain may like to make a note of this association and corresponding ones at the end of the message, for future reference. I feel sure they will be pleased for any input about conditions for animals in any circuses and zoos around Spain.
‘We have been informed of your complaint about Circo Avizu and are shocked at the images of the ponies! Did the person who took the pictures ask the police for an inspection? Could we have the contact details of this person to ask more questions?
We usually follow up circuses around Spain (see www.infocircos.org ) and had never heard of this one..
Thank you in advance

I’m sure you will all be as pleased as I am to read this information and so hope that the association is able to track this circus down, save the animals and prosecute the owners.
There’s some interesting information on this link about animals and circuses, in English.
