They want to do it in South Africa, China, Korea and now India…here’s the news.
Dear Friends,
Your help is needed to prevent the coming of commercial dog racing to India. It has been reported that the state of Punjab would like to build a track should greyhound gambling racing be legalized in the country.
Diana Ratnagar, Chairperson of Beauty Without Cruelty India is asking animal advocates around the world to join her in fighting for the greyhounds. GREY2K USA, along with several organizations including the Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organizations and the United Kingdom’s Dogs Trust have each contacted government officials.
Read our letter here.
Now we ask you to join us by doing two things today:
1.Add your name to our petition to Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh.
2.E-mail Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab, Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal at secretarydcm@gmail.com. Tell him to say no to dog racing.
Finally, if you want to see dog racing end worldwide, please help us raise the money needed to bring our campaign to a global audience. See our video and Chipin or donate today.
Thanks for caring about the greyhounds!
