Macu lives in Seville and has been working to save podencos from a gypsy. Now she has received a call about a hunter with galgos, podencos and mix breeds, kept in a shack in cages, existing on bread. He was going to take them to a perrera which doesn’t charge to kill the dogs. She has managed to get 3 of the 10 galgos, and is asking for help to get the other 7. It’s horrendous this year, everyone is full to overflowing – bloody hunters.

I’m going to make a comment here – from the photos, it looks like the galguero is one of the old ones whose mentality is what we’re all fighting against – makes me feel so angry just seeing him holding the dogs!
