This is why it is so difficult to make change in Spain. Corruption all the way through – hunters everywhere, looking after their own.
Justice in Spain remains in default again
We’ve all seen the terrible images of illegal hunting kennel in Bullas. The owner, a hunter, the 120 dogs left to their fate, their only food was chips, chips or pig heads and drinking water was not present. Podencos in a crowded closed kennel, other dogs were chained or walked off without any protection from the weather. Trenches where the dead bodies of dogs were still visible, several carcasses of dogs on the property.
In short, a abundance of evidence to the accused to address animal cruelty, but this is Spain, so you understand it, the suspect is not charged for lack of evidence by the judiciary. Now try Pro-setter, the organization that organized the rescue operation, the hunter to sue. However they have problems to gather evidence because different groups involved in the rescue, no information.
Conclusion There is no justice for animals in Spain! And the crimes against these poor souls go on and on ….

the physical neglect alone is evidence an idiot can see that governments dont give a damn the greys and gals are bred in their thousands every year the government wont do anything about it that the biggest problem and main problem after all these dogs dont have felings they dont have any fear
I don’t understand. What do they mean, ‘no evidence’!?!?! It’s it clear. And why don’t the rescue organisations have camcorders to record everything?

I totally agree with you, and so will hundreds of other people. And there is film evidence, as well as photos, Ive posted a link to the video on GN and Podenco Post. Thing is, this man is a hunter – apparently well-respected by other hunters because he produces good quality dogs (not quite sure how, the condition the dogs were in!). Hunters are in every walk of life in Spain, hellish corrupt, and that is why it is soooo difficult to get anywhere. The judge who threw the case out is probably a hunter, possibly bought dogs from the owner in the past.But we all have to keep fighting and screaming at the system, because no longer can the hunters claim our claims are lies, video film footage as in this case doesnt lie.
