I get very cross when people adopt a galgo or podenco, and then the dog turns up in an SPA refuge – as is the case at the moment with a podenca, and also now this black galgo which is on Le Boin Coin. For those of you who don’t know, it’s a website where you can sell virtually anything in France!

He is black, 4 years old, very gentle, needs room to run, clean, obedient, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, castrated, – says he cannot live with cats, but I have a cat and 5 hunting dogs – 4 galgos and a podenca andaluz, – my cat lives upstairs in the house where the dogs are not allowed, and runs free during the day everywhere but in the courtyard – where the dogs run free.

this gets worse why take a galgo if you have a cat knowing there will be a chance of him still keen i will never work some people out now that poor boy is in limbo again there must be something they could work out oh as the novelty just worn off

Is it possible to find out through which organization he was adopted ? They surely want to take him back,instead of him being advertised in the newspaper
ye that would be the best idea to go bk to the rescue thats if he come from a rescue and not private

Le Bon Coin is an Internet website which sells
anything and everything. The lady involved has already been contacted and
the person she got the dog from has health problems and cant take it
back. Another French association is trying to help but, as always, their
foster homes are full too. Same with me, I cant take another dog on at
the moment. Just hoping there is someone with room.

anybody could take him and who knows where he will end again.
come on it’s just 1 galgo,there must be some one with room for 1 galgo.
