Galgos killed in Fuensalida, Toledo – sign the petition

‘Once again they have done it … and they will continue. Spain remains the country where sadistic hunters hang their galgos, with complete impunity. Galgueros, an extremely dangerous sect which decides which of these angels must die and how. Galgueros, the sect that not only exploits and abuses their galgos every day of their lives, but also revels in providing an agonizing death.

Once again it is in a town of Toledo, specifically in Fuensalida. Be ashamed, the Council of Fuensalida because you are as guilty as the ones who killed these dogs, you are guilty because you know it happens and you remain silent about it.

Our partner Leticia received a notice about three bodies of Galgos, dead by hanging, in this infamous town, the remains of bones ,skeletons, and we believe that there were more, because of the high grass Leticia could not find them.

We know that there will be more, we are sure. And so we will do everything in our power to ensure that this does not remain so. We are many and strong, we will go for all of murderers.

But today we can only cry for the Galgos killed in Fuensalida

‘From the Town Hall of Fuensalida we condemn and we show our rejection to the killings of dogs that occurred in the municipality of our population. Local police and Civil Guard SEPRONA are working together to eradicate this scourge. It is not the first time that since this Council condemned these barbaric acts, and continue to do so until they disappear completely.

The Fuensalida’s are friendly, respectful people, supportive and loving animals. One of the festivals which is celebrated with more enthusiasm, turning it into a big day for the municipality is Antón. On 17 January, hundreds of Fuensalidan’s accompanied by pets (especially with their dogs) approach the chapel this Saint for a day of community with his best friend.

We, the representatives of the municipality of Fuensalida, are not willing to tolerate that you criminalise all people (more than 11,000 inhabitants) for these sadistic acts.’
