This poor galga was found abandoned and badly injured, collected by the police and taken to Madrid perrera. She’s obviously had puppies recently. She’s about 7 years old. It’s super urgent that she is got out of there to a vet and in foster/refuge where she can receive the care and treatment she needs. The volunteer has named her Safira.

have you had anymore news on this girl beryl i ant had reply yet hope she makes it to a rescue thinking of her bless poor little soul
I emailed this afternoon to ask for news. No reply so far.
Another day starts with tears. Well, every day should start nd end intears for most of us, considering how things are and how much of it is our fault.
I emailed to say that I couldn’t adopt her and am far away, but that between us (me and whoever) we could surely send money to help save her, but here is the sad reply:
Hola, pues malas noticias.. La vete de la perrera me dijo que habia muerto, pero creo que la ha sacrificado,, no nos ha dado ni un solo dia..
(Hi, bad news.. The (female) vet of the pound says that the bitch died, but I think she euthanised her.. They didn’t allow us even one day..)
No puedo demostrar que la ha sacrificado, dice que tenia 43 de fiebre, pero no me lo creo…
(I can’t prove they euthanised her, the vet says she had a temperature of 43C, but I don’t believe it..)
Una penita lo de esta pobrecina, estoy destrozada de verdad.. Por favor agradece a esta persona su interes en ayudarla,,
(A tragedy for this poor baby, honestly i’m devastated.. Please thnk the lady who wanted to help)
llegamos tarde!!
Un abrazo
(We arrived too late! A hug from Irina)
It is possible that the poor dear had a temp of 43 and that the vet was telling the truth – Fifine went from normal to 41,5 in 24 hours. I’m not going to get involved in condemning without deep and certain knowledge that it’s justified – there’s far too much hatred, stupidity and cruelty in the wporld, so I believe we should try to help, but never hate (or perhaps I’m just genetically under-endowed with hate DNA!)
