• In the city of Balcarce, province of Buenos Aires, a citizen, athlete, found a macrabo in the middle of a road show: dozens of GREYHOUNDS BURNED.! He found them when he was training with his bike on the road called “Small stones” in a stretch of Route 77.
• With this petition we are asking Balcarce municipal authorities: justice for these greyhounds mutilated and burned. We call on the authorities to give the whereabouts of these murderers!

Hi Jenny, I hope you are OK. I know how you are feeling, sometimes it is just too much, too unbearable to think of animals in pain, scared, suffering. After I signed this petition another one came up about dog and cat meat in China. There was a picture with it which was the most horrific picture I have ever seen and I won’t go into detail about it. I signed the petition and I believe there is some movement in China looking at banning dog and cat meat. People can argue that we eat meat from other animals, I know that but it is the way these dogs and cats are routinely tortured before they die and it is deemed acceptable. I couldn’t sleep last night, feel shaky today. I keep trying to think about all the good people out there, wonderful, brave people who are helpng animals but I just want to cry about all of this. I could do with some advice on how to stay positive!

hi kathryn im ok ye there is moves going fwd in china a lot of animal welfare orgs are behind this thankfully and with the help of people like us signing all the petitions and people donating to help the ivestigations i was spaeaking to charl yesterday was a bit upset and charl always seems to say the right thing to me and makes me feel a little better its funny cause it should be the other way round i should be making her feel better all what they put up with out there what she said yesterday was something like this thats what people like us are on this earth for to care i know things are moving slowly for animals but not quick enough for me and even if there is change for all these beutiful souls bit late in the day as far as i am concerned i will never forgive whats already happened thanks for seeing it the way i do

The reason people like Charl can bear it is that they’re able to do something about it, hands-on, and that not only channels their empathy and compassion, but also takes so much time and attention that there’s none left for weeping. All you can do is send bits of money, knowing it’ll never be enough, and then you’re powerless to help, so you weep. But your tears are your offering, because they’re all you have to offer, and who’s to say that counts for nothing? (You won’t see statues of saints grinning and jolly – they’re usually weeping and no wonder!
you are so right kate just wish one of us could win big money i know it wouldnt solve the problem world wide but it would help in a little part of it in a big way

It never does seem enough, sending little donations here and there, signing endless petitions in the hope that someone will sit up and take notice and put and end to this awful suffering. Every day I feel a bit of my own soul dying at every picture I see of cruelty. Animals were now put on this earth to serve our own selfish purpose, it’s time the human race realised this. The dog has lived alongside us for thousands of years and we repay his loyalty with brutality. These people don’t deserve to share this planet with the animals!
kathryn i know what i am going to say is nothing to do with this post its re pod post the latest on the poor injured pod is very sad beryl was saying even if the money was there from us to get him out no one come fwd for to kennel him im deeply sadened at this news and feel so hopless and helpless for this poor little soul bless and all the others that go with him on the same day in the past and in the future so sad and heartbreaking they dont deserve it they wont want to die
Oh Jenny I am so very sorry about this. I have just read about this on podenco post. This is so very sad, he is only two. It is so unfair, poor sweet boy. Yes it is heartbreaking and these dogs deserve a life, it’s so wrong and it is so awful feeling helpless like this.
Hi Jenny, another update on the pod from Beryl on Podenco post. He may yet be saved! I have put enough money through just now to get him out but obviously funds needed for kennels and his leg. Feeling more positive and hoping that I have now done something that will help. If this does help then it is done in memory of the two dogs in China who couldn’t be saved and the galgos who were burned.I will never forget those pictures and I won’t forget them.
hi kathryn thanks for that i will look on pod post and contact anke again i have a donation to put through ye the same here its on my mind day in and day out hope the pod got out i can well imagine the 2 poor dogs in china along with all the other poor souls there the pics are enough to give you a break down
