One of my readers has suggested the use of a Thundershirt to help a traumatised/stressed dog. I’d never heard of them so googled the word. Here’s a link to one firm for more information.

I think it would be great when the manufacturer would donate a piece of this product for example to Scooby or FBM (FBM has especially many dogs with anxiety so I heard).
If it really works one of the associations would be a superb reference. And of course a donated item would help the work of the association, too.
It would be a great deal for each party!

Tunde) as you might know the thundershirt cannot be worn constantly and with so many dogs as Scooby has or FBM I doubt they have the time and people to take it off at intervall as needed, whereas small rescues might have better results.
I have friends with galgos and the thundershirt did help them to be calm and more secure.
