Galgos discarded by galgueros – safe with Scooby Medina

Scooby hung galga 250 1 12 2013JOYA, a galga only 11 months old who broke her leg a few months ago during hunting and was no longer fit for hunting, as her galguero said, and brought to the Scooby residencia. She is doing great after she has been operated pn. In Scooby, Medina del Campo and for adoption. Contact Simonetta

This poor black galga GALA is maybe also not even one year old, found last week hanging in a tree but still alive!

The people quickly cut the rope around her neck to save her life. She is now safe here in the Scooby residencia but she has wounds and big lumps in her throat and maybe even an inflammed uterus, maybe that was the reason that her galguero tried to kill her instead of going to a vet. She is very depressed, sad and lies just still in bed. It must have been a horrible experience for her!

Poor girl, she will probably be traumatised for life. Despicable that these evil acts are still going on. At least she is safe now at Scooby. Will be making a donation to them in the next few weeks.
