No I don’t dream of living in sunny Spain, no thanks. I couldn’t bear it. There are lots of places now that I won’t visit on holiday because I can’t bear to see suffering animals and not be able to do anything about it. There are bad enough things happening to animals in this country without moving to a country where animals aren’t valued at all. Obviously I am aware that there are many, many Spanish people who do care and are involved in rescue but I am talking about the governing bodies, the galugeros. I read this article by a lovely caring lady who has adopted a Spanish dog and also the comments from other caring people who are trying to do their bit. Just really sad that things don’t seem to change. I hope lots of people support ACTIN and join as a member. I became a member last week.
