This young galgo was abandonded on the streets of Ejica, hit by a vehicle; eventually rescued and taken to the bet who said luckily his injuries were not serious. Not so for many – males not wanted as stud dogs, females not wanted for breeding for the next season, or covered and then dumped when their puppies are weaned – too soon in many cases.
And in Cordoba a case of extreme cruelty
Alma, tortured by two cowards, left to die on the road. The vet autopsy revealed she was stabbed repeatedly, then her throat slit while she was still alive, then dumped in the road to look like an accident.
Local volunteers are demanding the authorities investigate and prosecute these sickos. Please sign the petition to support them, it only takes a minute.

How can those men do this, then go home and eat, sleep, laugh like nothing ever happened? That’s the perfect definition of a psychopath… If nothing else, I hope Karma catches up to them with a vengence.
This is sickening, what cowards, psychopaths to do this to a defenceless dog. I am so sorry Alma, RIP. I have tried to sign the petition, maanged to used google translate so that I knew what it meant but I think you need to be on facebook to sign it and I don;t have a facebook account. Have had a look but can’t seem to find any other way. Beryl, if there is another way to sign then please let us know, as I would really like to sign.
Managed to get onto Change.org, filled in details but won’t let me sign. Will try again at home later. These people need bringing to justice. They are sick in the head. Too many of them about unfortunately and too many of them getting away with it.
Jen, it is a Change.org petition on the Internet, not on facebook. You just need to register with Change.org – I’m sure you must already be registered from previous petitions.

I have signed a good couple of petitions on change.org, I did not have to register with them. Instead of this, the usual change.org link takes you directly to the petition and you simply fill in your personal details. That’s it.
