Yes I wholeheartedly agree with this and it’s just the same in the UK. The reasons for dumping them are pathetic. I have no time for the dog now I have a child. It’s because of the recession, leaving the country, bought a puppy and it’s too demanding. One ‘delightful’ family had a beautiful rottie who was ten and they gave him up to a rescue so that they could get a puppy rottie. He had outlived his purpose. Aren’t some people disgusting? There was a lovely old dog at the Melampo shelter, abandoned at 14 because his owner was going back to the UK. I just cannot get my head round how someone can do this and sleep at night. Luckily for this old boy a lovely family adopted him in the UK and he had a wonderful eight months of being loved and cared for, like an elderly chap should be. A dog is for life.
me aswell agree with the title mine are like my second lot of children the older they get th better i think you manage but saying that my lot are so full of it sods thay are 11 half 11 10 and 9
