Photos from the Rassemblement at the Trocadero in Paris on 11 October 2014 – lots of galgos, some podencos (hurray – at last!); lots of banners, video of atrocities against the hounds; handing out leaflets; lots of people signing the UNESCO petition. And the sun shone all day.Great to meet Joelle Valois and Marion Rigaud of GEE and representatives from Levriers du Sud, L’Europe des Levriers and Galgos112 (from Barcelona)

Looks fantastic Beryl. Great to see people speaking out for the dogs. Lovely to see the galgos and pods out too so everyone can see them. Is that Charl from Carlota Galgos in one of the pictures? Glad the weather held out for you too. Hope that there is a positive outcome for the Spanish hunting dogs. Please keep us updated.
great pics glad there was some pods there aswell as galgos hope the petition gets through some how some way something must be done soon
Good to see so much support and folks speaking up on behalf of the dogs – who can’t speak for themselves If they could then think what horrendous stories of maltreatment they could share Hopefully this action and continued hounding (sorry for the pun) of the Spanish government will eventually win through I pray for this to end every day
