A sad story of betrayal – or ‘some people don’t deserve a dog’!

Not about a galgo, but a very sad story nevertheless from Scooby. People never fail to surprise me, how they can abuse the love and loyalty given by a dog.

Some people are just a total waste of space. They don’t deserve a dog and poor Noel is just gorgeous. People like this think a dog is just a toy to be disposed of when no longer wanted. You would have thought that as they were adopting a rescue dog then they would be decent people but no they are just a load of crap. I suppose the only positive is that Noel has gone back to Scooby and hasn’t been abandoned. I hope he finds a home soon with decent, kind people who understand what a young dog needs. Noel is so stunning and lovely so surely that the right home is out there for him.

This ‘owner’ is not only cruel but utterly stupid. She should NEVER own any animal.

I don’t envy shelters… they have to try and “read” people to make sure that they will be good to the dog they adopt. It’s not an easy task, because some people are very good at lying or at least “embellishing” the truth to get what they want. I think some people get a rescue dog for the “prestige” of it, so they can tell their friends what a good deed they’ve done and bask in their approval. Then reality hits home, because a lot of times a shelter dog comes with bagage, bad habits and such that some people don’t like… I know, I’ve had 7 dogs, 6 of which are rescues and they do have some bad habits that they might not have had had I raised them from puppyhood. It just adds to their personalities. And anyway who among us is perfect?!! So why do we always expect perfection from our dogs? I hope those awful people never adopt a dog again.
