My daughter Georgy, her boyfriend Leigh and I are doing a three legged walk (or is it a 4-legged walk with 3 people?) this month (19th July) from Hove Lagoon to Brighton Pier to donate to a Dog Refuge in Spain. We have a passion to help abused and abandoned dogs. A lot of these dogs suffer extremely horrific injuries due to outrageous abuse.
We are raising money for Pepis Dog Refuge. They are based in Seville in Spain. Pepis Dog Refuge is run by two amazing people, Alan and Jane Brian! They work extremely hard, day in, day out in blistering hot conditions to look after the welfare of these dogs. They take the dogs in when they’ve been abandoned and abused and looked after them, and get them the help they need until they find them a suitable home. Alan and Jane do an amazing job. However, due to the nature of this job and the high levels of abuse they require a lot of funding. The Refuge is not government funded. It’s all run on donations.
