Can you imagine the bad luck this poor boy has had in his 2 year life?! Angie Robinson tells his story.
‘This is POST. We’ve seen him before in the Valencia perrera municipal….. He was found wandering last year and picked up by the dog catchers, and then later retrieved by the owner. He was found again, last week, wandering alone with a broken chain still around his neck where he had broken free. We understand that he was kept on a plot of land chained up, living outside. This time, the owner has signed him over with permission to sacrifice. POST is CESE – this means that when a kill list is drawn up, the CESE dogs that are entered by owner will be at the top of the sacrifice list.
POST has microchip and papers showing date of birth 01.08.2013. He is 2 years old. Let’s hope that this time he can be lucky and find a proper home with a family who will love and respect him.
POST is very thin as you can see in the first photo. He looks to be galgo mix. He is very tall and very handsome.
Perrera release fee 45 euros; a fee charged by the perrera authorities for rabies vaccine, change of microchip and passport.
It is not permitted by the authorities to test the perrera dogs with other dogs in the perrera municipal. It is not possible to test the perrera dogs with cats or with children as there are neither in the perrera municipal. The dogs in the perrera municipal are kept in the cages 24/7. These are not our rules, but the rules of the council who own and manage the perrera.

Just mailed her would like to pay the perrera release fee, I hope it will not be too late for this poor dog. Mixed breed make wonderful pets.
Now saved and going to an association in Germany. Thank you.
What a lovely dog and how kind of Katharina to offer to pay the release fee. Good news that he is now safe. Why have a dog? Because they are seen as disposable machines. I have just been through the city centre tonight and have seen so many staffies with some totally unsuitable people. Yes it’s the people who are unsuitable not the dogs. So upsetting.
