Another galgo left tied to the gates of Pepis Dog Refuge yesterday, before Jane and Alan could get to it, it had chewed through the twine tying it and run off into the campo. The last time this happened, the gamekeeper in charge of keeping rabbits alive for the galgueros to hunt and kill shot the galgo, not killing it outright. It died in Jane’s arms. Pray that the food and water they have left out will attract the frightened galgo back and they can catch it. @that makes 4 galgos left there in one week!

What an amazing job they do at Pepis. Do hope the poor, frightened Galgo will be caught if he returns.
