29/12 2016 – This end of the year is being particularly hard. The requests we receive daily for help from our team are enormous. And unfortunately we can’t do it all. We don’t have shelter and we rely exclusively on our foster homes, but if there are no houses free we can’t do much more.
Today’s the day we go back to making a great effort and draw strength from where almost no longer do we have anything left…. but impossible not to help this galga, in Valencia, we picked up this princess in a terrible state.
Open fractures of the two front legs, hip fracture, pneumothorax, a deep cut in the bottom and the entire body, scored and covered with wounds… and in so much pain. This small and sweet galguita is no more than two years old. We have called her Luba. Now we wait for her to regain her strength and stabilize to go into surgery.
She’s gonna need several operations, very hard for her and with a rougher recovery yet, but we already know that our rescued kids are made of stern stuff and will fight to survive.
As you can imagine the costs of these operations are going to be very high. We need your help, Luba is not the only serious case we now have in the association and the bills are huge.
Let’s start 2017 giving a helping hand to these little angels, as we always say, any help, no matter how small, is a lot for them.

Poor baby, she must be in so much pain. Such terrible injuries, it sickens me that this happens and is allowed to happen, absolutely disgraceful. Look at her sweet little face. I will donate in next few weeks. Thank you for saving her, she deserves a chance, beautiful girl.
