In the early hours a press release was made announcing suspension of travel from European countries to the USA for 30 days. This has been amended that this does not include US Citizens (go figure) .. however it will impact on dogs traveling out there and with so-much uncertainty SHUG have decided to postpone flights which has a knock on effect on us here in Spain. Crystal in the photo is due to fly to Canada in a few days so we are waiting to see if Canada will impose similar restrictions.
I have not been overly concerned about this Coronavirus outbreak and yes we have had a laugh about the posts of people fighting over toilet roll in supermarkets. However in the last 24 hours the situation has become more serious with quarantine in certain regions in Spain Here in Murcia there has been a few cases confirmed. So to be sensible I’m just going to keep away from busy places .. I had a food delivery of 300 kilos for the dogs yesterday and thanks to those donated in memory of Tilly will order another 300 kilos and that gives us 2 months supply which is one less thing to worry about .. just going to go into the local village and get some shopping in (and no won’t be getting toilet roll )and stock up on the dogs meds .. I’m sure this virus will take its course it’s just be sensible and take responsibility not to expose yourself to it.. If dogs can’t make the flights they will be fine until such time they can however it means we won’t be able to take in new cases.. but it’s factors beyond our control and there is not much we can do about it .. Everyone keep safe and hopefully life will return back to normal soon.
