Please can someone help these two podencas in Malaga, left chained up without food or water in a lamentable state. Damn these revolting hunters. I’m posting this link because a comment was posted yesterday by someone visiting Galgo News for the first time, read the story about the galgo saved from death by hanging, and does not know about the plight of the galgo.
Here’s the latest update on Sofie, the abandoned galga whose jaw was savagely broken. You will see she is now able to take liquid food orally, rather than through the neck. She has to have a second operation, where some bone will be removed from her ribs to rebuild her jaw. What amazing veterinary care.
Yet more cruelty to animals by the Spanish. I have been passionate about horses all my life, and still have two at my home in France.
Please take a moment to sign this petition and circulate it far and wide – wild horses in Galicia are driven down the mountains into a corral, wrestled to the ground, manes and tales cut, branded, mares and foals separated – I can hear the screams of the horses.

Remember Angie, the last of the 3 galgas saved at the beginning of January from the Jaen killing Station. She has been quite ill, and it has taken time for her to recover.
She is now looking for a foster or forever home. This girlie desperately needs a loving family where she can blossom and put on weight and learn to enjoy life, after the hell she will have been through till she was rescued from Jaen.
