From Platforma NAC (No a la Caza)
[INTERNATIONAL PROTESTS] Europe united against cruelty. 32 European cities will take to the streets to demand an end to dog hunting. All details by city on this weblink.
Thanks to international solidarity, thousands of abandoned hunting dogs in Spain find a second chance.
Hunting with hounds in Spain is a barbaric practice that condemns thousands of animals to a lifetime of suffering and, in many cases, to violent death. It is time to ban this atrocity and ensure the well-being of all sentient beings.
đŞđ¸ Spain, wake up! We are the only country in the EU that allows this barbarism.

PACMA – need politicians to fight for animal rights in Spain
From PACMA we want to inform you that we are going to file a criminal complaint following the regrettable events that occurred on Friday 03/01/25 at the Granada Royal Herald parade, where a man kneed an ox in the face in front of dozens of children. Many people have asked us how it is possible that there are still so many animals involved in these shows: the answer, although painful, is that the new animal protection law excludes practically all animals that are not dogs, cats or ferrets and as long as they are not for hunting or work. This excludes oxen, camels, horses, sheep, cows and other animals unfairly called âproduction animalsâ.
We need politicians committed to animals

Galgos del Sol – educating the young Spanish to care for the hunting dogs
Greyhounds In Need support a few rescue associations with education packages. Galgos del Sol is one such rescue which has been undertaking this for many years. Tina Solera (founder GdS) originally did it herself with the help of her children. Times have moved on, this is the latest news on the education frontThis news doesnât get attention like rescuing a dog does, but itâs what is needed to prevent needing to rescue in the first place. Sam is travelling around the schools in the Madrid / Toledo area teaching as many kids as possible about pet welfare and the work that we do at GDS.
This wouldnât be possible without the amazing Greyhounds in Need who support us with this all the way. For us education is important as the idea of running a rescue centre is to surely one day put yourself out of work because you are no longer needed.
