This appeal is from my friend Sandra Campos Cuevas of Nueva Oportunidad Sevilla.
The partners of Ochavillo del Río (Córdoba) are responsible for over 20 dogs, they only have a sack of feed. Its facilities are appalling. They also have puppies. They need food, beds, blankets, and help to spread. They need adoptions. Nueva Oportunidad Sevilla is trying to raise money, materials and medicines to take them as soon as possible. Hi beryl I have some tin food they can have do you know anyway I can get it there as it would cost to much to post
Hi Kim contact Chris Marshall, he has a UK trip from Almeria shortly and he could be willing to take it back for you. I think you have his contact details – if not, put Almerialife into a search engine and it should bring up his blog and Contact Me on it. Otherwise Jen knows how to contact him as hes brought galgos over to her. Beryl

Jen, you can email Sandra direct on the above link. She speaks English, I met up with her in Seville last September. I will tell her people are trying to organise donations of goods which hopefully will be taken back by Chris and that please would she liaise with you. Can you also give her his contact details. I’ll do the same myself. Bless you and Kim and anyone else who have goods which they would donate, that will be fantastic. You all did a marvellous job sending things with Chris for Lourdes at the shelter in Jaen. Bless you for caring.

Jen, keep me informed on this – if Chris can collect from us we have some plastic dog beds and blankets that were donated for our kennels, but we have fixed raised beds so don’t need them. I’d also donate a couple of sacks of food if he can take it over.
will do jay fingers crossed he can get to us cause that rescue must be one of the poorest in spain they ant even got a shelter looking at picks them poor dogs could be stolen at anytime it looks like this shelter really needs help to get something more secure built aswell as blankets beds caots food this is bad news
sandra as now sent pics of all the dogs the rescue got 2 galgos mainly pods what i can see and some cross breeds and pups they are in desperate need i just hope chris can get the stuff off us
I have been thinking about this shelter since I saw the pictures. I will put something more through for them in the next couple of weeks.
Just re reading this thread. The update is that we had lots of equipment ready to go to this shelter – coats, beds, bedding, leads, collars, food etc – but sadly Chris stated that he was unable to collect it from us when he was in England, or even meet us half way. The items will be shared between local rescues but it is a shame it could not go to where it is more desparately needed. It is such a shame and we are so sorry.
Thank you for updating, Jane. I know how frustrated you and Jen have been that you and Chris could not meet up for him to collect the goods. He says it is 10 hours extra on his journey back to Spain, to stop off at Cordoba or Sandra in Seville, but I am sure that Sandra would have done what she could to have met up with him. We couldnt find anyone else travelling between Spain and the UK who could help. If you can hang on to anything for a couple or so months more, David should be coming over to the UK and could perhaps meet you. Hed be going to Norfolk/Suffolk border. Thanks for caring.
Ok thanks Beryl. We will hold onto everything and hopefully be able to make arrangements this time. The dogs will need the equipment for winter
