Valladolid perrera – news on the galgos?

Living in France, I don’t have too much of a problem reading French news, etc. But I can’t even begin to understand Spanish, which is why I have to use a translator. This link is to the blog with news of the poor galgos in a perrera in Valladolid. I’m a bit pushed for time but if anyone can translate the latest news and post it in a comment here, that will be great.

UPDATE – Eva of Scooby Medina tells me that Fermin Perez is working hard to get these dogs out, that it is possible they are not dead. But the perrera is being unco-operative.

    ! Slaughtered without mercy!
I am outraged! I volunteered to host one of them. The article below talks about them. As the patron who sent the dissemination agreed with the kennel does not sacrifice until Friday (last week) to give them time to seek host families. They took one and found it was more than 3 families. Families found on (how nice!) So they went on Friday afternoon (all work) to take them out what are you?. That had been slaughtered that morning. That’s evil. Of course, they waited until Friday, kept their agreement. I arrive on Friday morning and decided to sacrifice them without waiting for the evening, or make a call. It is outrageous! I hope they burn the hell, it does exist!
Poor, poor, poor animals. They may have lived, but because no effort of the kennel, they are dead.
Do not want to denounce not alienate them for future cases. It is understood though it is a snake biting its tail. So it is difficult to end this. Hopefully I play a lottery to pursue them all.
    ¿¿Will it never end??
These poor souls are in the kennel of a town of Valladolid, waiting to be slaughtered. A protective already to take a 2 that were in bad shape but now they need foster homes or adoption for these 4 poor dogs. I hope that works and can save them as well. PLEASE.
Set in the looks lost. How are they going to understand what they have done no soul? They have served and loved and now because they do this?
    I feel so helpless.

Thank you Valarie, for the translation
We can all understand what this poor volunteer
says. Its the eyes that always haunt me, poor galgos – and images of other
dogs I receive which are on Death Row – it sickens me that it is all so
unnecessary. And the method of euthanasie ensures the dogs suffer too –
the cheapest option. Not as you and I would treat a loved pet, the dogs
    suffer even as they die.
We have to keep our voices raised to try and make
    Spain stop this.

    Bonjour
I agree – the picture haunted me, and the thought
that the dogs had still more agony to suffer during the euthanasia
    process…………….

What is even worse about this whole situation is that Scooby offered to help and has in the past as well. The response we got?… nothing. They have not taken our help. We continue to push but why they won’t budge is beyond us.

    Bonjour
It must have been terrible for everyone at Scooby, so close and being unable to get in to get the dogs. Are the people who broke the story still allowed in? If not, can we name and shame the perrera. Naturally I would not want to do anything which would prevent people at least having access to seeing what is going on.
Do you know what method of euthanasia is used in the perrera?
    Thanks for post.

I spoke to Fermin yesterday and we were able to rescue just one galgo from this place 🙁 Sadly the others were killed.
The positive news is that they (the killing station) now knows who we (Scooby) are and Scooby also has the direct contact of the person there that will hand over galgos to us in future. So all galgos arriving in this killing station in the future will be coming to Scooby. I wish we could have made contact before and saved these beauties, but hopefully, the others will be spared now that this connection has been made. We have many galgos arriving at Scooby and also those rescued from around the country. Please have a look at our adoption pages. Thanks.

    Bonjour
Thats great to know that Fermin has now made
inroads into this killing station, for the galgos. He will be able to have
his finger on the pulse of what goes on in there.
Ill put some publicity up for you separately about
    the galgos you have.
Thanks as always for your support in every which
    way for the galgos.
