Hey folks. There are a couple of comments on the post about stopping the building of a greyhound racing stadium in Logan, Australia. They accuse me of being a troublemaker.
Yippee! I’M A TROUBLEMAKER! What a great accolade, I can’t believe it! And if it involves improving the situation to the lives of the galgos and greyhounds around the world, Then Yippee, I’m a troublemaker!

Emailed a friend who lives in Australia. He confirmed there is cruelty around greyhound racing and the people fighting to keep the tracks open are more interested in money than greyhounds. Keep up the trouble making guys.

That is so not true, ur lying or ur friend is lying, there is hardly any cruelty in the greyhound industry in aust, we have one of the best industries in the world, we have so many rules and regulations which stop animal cruelty in racing, look I am behind u guys, but maybe focus on the countries that are disgusting with the way they treat the greys than focusing on one that is one of the best and strictest for the way the greys are housed rehomed etc
How have you got the right to say she is lying? She said cruelty exists and you have just said there is hardly any cruelty which means you both agree that cruelty no matter how small does exist. Why is she lying exactly? Please explain?

Ive taken on board the information in the posts from Mitch and Tim, and have even posted information about greyhounds in Romania from Mitch. Yes, I concentrate on what is closest to home to me – the galgos and podencos – but occasionally I receive a post relating to greys, and so post it. And the information in the comments as a result are there to be read by anyone finding the post.
So thank you for your interest, thank you for commenting, and I hope that everyone who follows this post will follow up the information links given in previous comments.
