This year there seem to have been more galgos abandoned and still loose on the streets and campo. Charl’s had this information in about a galga loose on the streets of Jaen, with injuries to her neck, quite obviously managed to survive a hanging. There are people in the area trying to catch her Read about it on her weblog.

we offered to take her in and treat her but first they need to catch her. its not sure that it was a hanging intempt, because the injurie looks more like a “grown in collar” , according to a forensic doctor i know, a hanging would not cause such a wide injurie. in any case, the poor dog needs help, the sooner the better, lets hope they can catch her.
