Dutch founder Betty says ‘I have been involved in the fate of the greyhound and galgo since 1999 when we adopted our first galga. I have had an organisation in Holland to rescue and help the dogs in Spain. In 2005 I moved to France in order to help more dogs. Foundation Dj-Imba now homes 14 dogs of which 7 greyhounds/galgos (the oldest 18), 5 podenco’s and 2 chinese crested. Most of the dogs are handicapped, old or ill.
