El Arca de Noe, Cordoba – condemning the hunters – shame on these men!

I try not to post really bad pix on GN because I don’t want to turn people away from reading about life for the galgos and volunteers in Spain. But I make no apologies for posting these photos of Lia, luckily she is with El Arca de Noe in Cordoba. Here’s the story and appeal, in the words of the volunteer.

‘WE HAVE RESCUED LIA AND SHE IS HOSPITALISED. SHE HAS LOST THE WILL TO LIVE, THE WOUND IS HORRIBLE, SHE IS BLEEDING FROM HER VAGINA A LOT. SHE CANNOT STAND UP. LIA WAS LETTING HERSELF DIE BUT WE REACHED HER IN TIME, ALTHOUGH WE DONT KNOW IF SHE WILL CONTINUE TO LIVE. BUT WE ARE TRYING AT LEAST.

THE WORST NEWS IS THAT HER PUP ISN’T WITH HER, NO SIGN OF IT AT ALL, IT WASN’T THERE AND WE DIDN’T HEAR IT, WE THINK IT HAS DIED. LIA WAS NOT ABLE TO CARE FOR IT.

IT COSTS US SO MUCH TO OVERCOME SUCH BAD NEWS DAILY.

SHE HAS ANOTHER WOUND WHERE IT LOOKS LIKE SHE HAS HAD HER CHIP PULLED OUT. ITS HIGHLY LIKELY BECAUSE SHE WAS FOUND IN AN AREA OF GALGUEROS.

ONE MORE TIME WE DEMONSTRATE OUR PROFOUND HATE AND REPULSIVENESS TOWARDS ALL AND EVERY SINGLE GALGUERO IN THIS COUNTRY, AND TOWARDS THE POLITICIANS AND INSTITUTIONS WHICH ALLOW THIS AND ALMOST APPLAUD IT.’
