Would it help if any of the dogs were already reserved? I would reserve one immediately but couldnt get it transported before mid-May. I had thought about Grace, but looks like she has a prospective home and Kena was homed safely. If a few people were able to reserve dogs, that might buy some time to get them shifted?

aww what a shame beryl i cant even say i can donate to any rescue at the moment for to take any of them i am busy getting that money together for jerez gals for maribel and marisa this is heart breaking
The dogs were taken to safe places today but need to be kept there for several weeks. They are asking for donations to help feed and care for the dogs while in their temporary homes.
So relieved, I didnt think anything could be organised in time to save them,and I was so sad this morning. It is really amazing what the rescuers achieve under so much pressure. I will try to donate what I can each week.

Support Murcia in Spain are trying to get people to donate 4 or 5 euros/week to
pay for the dogs. Will send them this news.

Hi, Beryl, sorry, thats where I got this news, I should have said. Just wanted Jenny to know they had been saved for now, but just temporarily. Like jenny, I was very heavy-hearted yesterday thinking it had been too late. I guess I need to remember that everyone else covers the same sites as me so gets all the updates as well. Anyway, I was delighted that even a temporary fix had been found.
Hi, Jenny, they aren in rescue, just very temporary homes so the problem isnt solved, just the deaths ahve been verted for now, but even that is some good news.

There is a bank number on the Cuenca rescue website, but it is in Spanish and I dont know what numbers to use-I am in Scotland. They also have paypal but it isnt working. Maybe Beryl would have some idea how to donate for this. I intended sending a little bit but havent worked out how to go about it. It is so tragic, the poor dogs just keep on coming.
I have asked my contact how people can donate to pay for the animals which have been moved to temporary shelter/homes and am waiting for a reply. As soon as I know of anything organised, I will post. thanks for caring
thats brilliant i can put a donation through next fri now beryl thanks for reply fiona situation changed for the best with jerez gals with maribel she managed to get money together for them so she ask that i help with next galgo in kill station so i will keep money aside for that one wait for who we put money through for these dogs
