Sandra Baas of Asociacion Baas Galgo is not afraid of taking on the hunters through the Spanish courts. Each case of animal cruelty is recorded when she and her team make a denuncia in the area where it happens. This is the latest case, in the hellhole of Toledo, and Sandra is appealing to everyone to get in touch with her with similar examples of the hunters’ cruelty, to enable her to build a solid file.
This galgo has been a victim of extreme cruelty after the end of the hunting season, already… this poor soul was found in Fuensilada, Toledo; the microchip had been cut out to prevent identifying the bastard who perpetrated this act. Asociacion Baasgalgo dedicates every day all its effort in eradicating this horrifying practice and is looking for every case and denouncing it.
Sandra says, ‘Help us, if you observe similar cases or know where they happen, write to us to info@baasgalgo.com. It will be confidential and we will deal with everything, do not allow this to keep on happening.’

good on you bass galgo keep going at them this needs to stop poor galgos they do nothing wrong but still suffer
Can I join your organisation, I live in Alhama De Murcia, I don’t know how widespread it is here in Murcia but I want to help stop it, what can I do? How can I become involved? Although no longer young, I’ve been a soldier, police officer and served in the ambulance service, I’m not afraid to confront these monsters.

Bonjour
Thank you for writing. Im not an organisation,
just one lady in the middle of France publicising the plight of the galgos and
podencos, organising letter-writing campaigns, linking together rescue
organisations and shelters in Spain and around Europe……what you need to do
is to find an association near to you. Ill forward your message on to
someone who lives in your area who can probably point you in the right
direction.Let me know how you go on. Email me band@bbrennan.eu if there is ever
anything you want publicising on either of my blogs. Rest assured the
rescue associations need all the help they can get. Thanks for caring and
commenting.
