Three galgos – one starving and desperately needing help.
This one is Magilla, a big male Greyhound, which was collected from street by the police, in poor condition all frightened, trembling, with bad pintilla, and it seems that they bleed the legs in the kennel! And this one in Madrid. It’s a young galgo, (black) not eating or moving, likely to die of cold and starvation. It was rescued from the street, is now in a kennel. as i just said on pod post this needs stopping cruel b——- they make me sick lost count of the appeals for dogs just been left thats befor the hunting season ends if i dont get reply in the next week by post i will be emailing lacs and rspca and dogs trust they all need to get together and petotion our government to make a move on spanish government hope these poor little souls get happy ending
Is there anything I can do, is there anyone who can get to them, I work at a vets in u.k and we get loads of opened bags of food that our rescues wont take, if only I could get it to the resues over there, who are tireless in their help and support for these poor wee souls. Its heartbreaking.
Have emailed you privately with suggestions, Tracy. Thank you for your offer. Here in France, small animal food producers donate sacks of dog food to rescue associations travelling to Spain. What a waste in the UK if the rescues cant take the food!

I have asked a Spanish friend of mine to contact the association regarding the frightened black galgo. I have also contacted Elisa with details of the Italian Galgo Rescue Association. I am trying to link them all together. Fingers crossed we can get him.

I forwarded Elisas original email to my Spanish friend who sometimes acts as liaision for me between people wanting to help a dog, and those who are the contact for the dog, as in this case. Ive just emailed her again, to see if she has had any success. Will keep trying. Bless you for caring.

Dear Beryl, Sabrina is a voluntary Gaci, the Italian association. Sent you an email, I hope you have received the email. There are two good news: protectora wrote me an email, Magilla is adopt. Sabrina wrote me that the thin galgo black and white is in the shelter of Albacete and will be adopted in France. I’m happy for this!
But still no news of the other black one. I am waiting to hear from my Spanish friend.
I hope to be able to find the galgo black. He so desperately needs a family…
oh this is upsetting poor dog hope they soon get bk to you and you get this boy into home great news for the other 2 i prey you find the the galgo and get him home
