Besides the 2nd Manifestation in Strasbourg on Sunday 9th June, organised by C.R.E.L., there will be a simultaneous demonstration in Barcelona and Madrid.
Here’s what Anna Clements of SOS Galgos says, ‘This Sunday SOS Galgos will be demonstrating in solidarity with our friends outside the Palais des Congrès et de la Musique in Strasbourg. We are attending not only to demand the protection of Galgos but against the wider mistreatment of all dogs used for hunting.
On Sunday 9th June here in Barcelona, and also in Madrid, we will be meeting at 11.30am outside the building of the European Commission, on Passeig de Gracia, 90.
Please join us there! We are your voice. Make it heard.’
PACMA in Madrid is involved in the simultaneous march there. It’s fantastic, so many Spanish people speaking out – when will the hunting federations and governments listen…so many votes lost if they don’t ban hunting and racing with galgos.

I think the majority of Spanish people do love animals and do care a lot and it’s great that people are unting to protect them.
