Hi Jen this is for people in Spain to
make a denuncia if they come across a case of animal cruelty.

The good news I have just read is that since 2007 only plastic ducks have been used in one of the festivals listed on here. Just for a bit of light relief, I have read about a festival called the Jarramplas festival where people throw turnips at a man! Way to go I say! I bet everyone can think of a few people they would like to throw turnips at! At least it doesn’t involve animals and the man involved consents to having turnips thrown at him!

…the only words for these GASP….*celebrations* are …VILE EVIL MONSTERS….my heart most importantly breaks for these beautiful animals that are tortured and murdered…BUT also, that little children are brought to these venues of animal abuse… The cycle of abuse will continue…from parent to child….from new parent to new child….my heart weeps….OUR FIGHT MUST CONTINUE !!!!!

Exactly echo your sentiments – little children are
taken to watch – indeed, the family dresses up for the day out to the
siesta! And yet so very many young Spanish absolutely hate all this…and
protest where they can. Thanks for caring.
