Dear all,

Just an update on everything that is going on: as you know, there was denouncing regarding the building work at the kennels as it needed a construction permit to be built. The mayor has meanwhile come for a visit and told Teresa not to worry as he was giving her his blessing to carry on, so it wouldn’t be a problem.

However, Teresa lives in a rented property that has always been for sale, with the agreement that if a buyer came along, Teresa would voluntarily leave. Well, that buyer has turned up and Teresa’s landlord has given her until the 31st of December to leave her current house.

Still not to worry, this was an amicable agreement and Teresa is looking for a larger property with a nice piece of land to build a wider space for the dogs, with kennels and large runs, and she already has a few good ones in mind. Good thing is they’re further away from the main village houses, so she won’t be needing any building permission nor will she get in trouble with legal requirements.

She will have to gather 2 months’ rent in advance, but she has all the building materials paid for and has the funds saved up to pay the builder. She has also been receiving dog houses, bedding and items for the animals that are all stored safely and will be ready to use once the new kennels are made.

She has asked me to write you to say THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who supported her dogs, one way or the other. The recent facebook auction was a good help to clear some of the vet bills and now she only needs to confirm the new property so she can move in in the beginning of the year. Please bear with us, it will only take a little bit longer, but it will be all worth it in the end. THANK YOU for supporting her and her work.
